BLUEPRINT DETAILS
Upon completion of your Blueprint, you will have an exact detailed plan of your project.
The completed Blueprint will then become part of the construction price estimate, as well as an important part of your building contract agreement.
Your Blueprint will consist of seven major parts, all of which are required by Code Enforcement upon submittal of a Building Permit Application.
Floor Plans: Representing new room sizes and designs, renovated areas, bathroom, laundry, kitchen layout and location, right down to light switch locations. Considerations for traffic flow and access, in and around living spaces are examples of the function in our designs.
Elevations: Scaled drawing of the exterior of the structure(s) generally ¼” = 1’-0” scale. Reflecting exterior siding, windows and door placement, porches ect. The drawing is a visual representation of how the exterior of the building will look upon completion
Sections: A drawing reflecting what is ‘inside the walls” a cut through section of the structure, with details of insulation, weight bearing beams, sheathing, framing wood and steel sizes and dimensions, weather flashing ect.
Site Plan: To reflect Property lines and building set backs, as well as zoning building coverage allowances
Electrical Plan: Reflects general lighting placement and switch locations, wall receptacles, CATV locations, ceiling fans. Exterior lighting, fixtures and placement..
Foundation and Demolition Plans: Drawing that reflects the outline footprint of the proposed structures foundation, detailing concrete and block work. The Demolition plan reflects all walls, roof, foundation, and any part of an existing component or structure to be removed.
Door and Window Schedule: Each window and door on the Blueprint, individually specified by location, type, style, size and finish.

Crossland Construction Inc. is a Design Build company that will creatively design and professionally document your project, as well as, provide top quality, clean and reliable construction. Your completed design will be presented in a 24 x 36" blueprint format, which will include detailed text and dimensions of exterior elevations, floor plans , wall sections, as well as, door and window specitfications.
You will deal with the same design individual from concept to completion. This personal process connects our resources and talent directly to you and your project.
